Reflecting on a Successful Orientation Weekend

This past weekend, we had the pleasure of hosting our annual orientation meeting with Miss Gay America 2025, Ivy Dripp, and Miss Gay America Femme 2025, Naomi St. James. Orientation weekend is always a special time for us—it’s a chance to bond with our reigning titleholders, set expectations for the year ahead, and discuss the continued evolution of the Miss Gay America system.

A Year of Growth and Evolution

As always, part of this weekend was dedicated to refining our system to ensure we continue setting the standard for excellence. One of the key updates this year is the introduction of a single handbook that covers both the Miss Gay America and Miss Gay America Femme pageants. This will make it easier for contestants, promoters, and judges to navigate the rules and expectations across both divisions.

Additionally, we reviewed how we will handle single-contestant pageants moving forward. As our system continues to grow, adapting to the needs of promoters and contestants is essential, and these changes will allow for a more streamlined and fair competition process. If you follow Miss Gay America closely, be sure to check out the updated handbook to stay informed on the latest rules and procedures.

Expanding the Femme Pageant

One of our biggest goals this year is to grow the Femme division. We are actively working on a strategic plan to expand participation, increase visibility, and enhance the overall experience for Femme contestants and promoters. While we're still in the planning stages, we are excited about the possibilities and will keep you updated as new developments unfold.

Looking Ahead

Orientation weekend always reinvigorates our passion for this system, and this year was no exception. Ivy and Naomi are incredible representatives of Miss Gay America, and we are confident that they will continue to elevate the legacy of excellence that this pageant represents.

Stay tuned for more updates, and as always, thank you for being part of the Miss Gay America family!
