Honor a Legacy
The Gay America family has been built by countless individuals whose talent, dedication, friendship, and support have shaped its legacy over the years. From contestants and titleholders to promoters, judges, entertainers, volunteers, and devoted supporters, each person has left a lasting impact on our community.
For the first time, we are opening our annual memorial tribute to public submissions. If you know someone who was part of or supported the Gay America family and would like them to be remembered during next year's pageant, we invite you to complete the memorial submission form by clicking the link below.
It is our privilege to honor those who helped make the Miss Gay America, Miss Gay America Femme, and Gay America Esquire family what it is today, ensuring their legacy and contributions are remembered with the respect and gratitude they deserve.

About Miss Gay America
Miss Gay America began in 1972 at The Watch Your Hat and Coat Saloon in Nashville, TN, where Norman Jones (a.k.a. Norma Kristie) became the first-ever titleholder. Founded by Jerry Peak, the pageant aimed to celebrate the art of female illusion. After winning the title, Norman Jones purchased the pageant in 1975, dedicating 30 years to growing it into the most prestigious and respected competition for female impersonators. Today, Miss Gay America is the longest-running and most esteemed pageant of its kind, now owned by 2 Queens and a Princess and Mad Angel Entertainment.
